Building shelves and working on the 2nd floor of the clinic...
Fixing breaks on the clinic truck...
Seeing patients and teaching pre-med students...
Unloading boxes of food shipped from the US...
In the midst of all that, Tyrell, Mic and Toni decided to go into Coxen Hole to do a little shopping. On the list was a large igloo water cooler to hydrate the kids at basketball practice. After walking ALL over the city, Toni spotted one in a pawn shop. The kids went through the whole jug within what seemed to be a few minutes and were wanting more. Feels good to give them electrolytes instead of the Fanta they were drinking the first week of practice!
I haven't played basketball in so long! Luckily the kids took it easy on me:)
We have also been learning how to cocinar (cook) local foods, thanks to Tina our housekeeper. She taught Tyrell how to make corn tortillas, coconut bread (delicious but fattening) and refried frijoles (beans).
Tina also taught Tyrell & Amy how to cook flour tortillas - more difficult, but delicioso!!!
Other than that, we have done a ton of snorkeling...
Took a boat taxi to West End to watch the World Cup...
And relaxed in our wonderful casa!
